script — Record the user’s activities on a terminal.

Summary:

Script makes a typescript/record of everything printed on your
terminal. It is useful for anyone, who need a hard copy record of an
interactive session as proof, and the typescript text file can be
printed.

Press Ctrl+D/exit/logout to Stop the Script Program.


Examples:

$ script — Start the recording in a file (Default File Name

           is typescript).

$ script MyFile — Record the output in MyFile.

$ script -a — Record the output in Appending Mode.

$ cat typescript — Show the recorded content.
